Based on the hit 1976 film starring a preteen Scott Baio and Jodi Foster, and featuring a catchy, swinging score by the composer of The Muppet Movie, Bugsy Malone is good, clean, comedic fun!

Two gangs comprised completely of children, square off in a 1920s rivalry of Capone-ian standards. Dandy Dan's gang has gotten the upper hand since obtaining the "splurge" gun (a weapon that shoots whipped cream). Now, Fat Sam and his bumbling buffoons are in real trouble! Bugsy Malone, a one-time boxer, is thrust not-so-willingly into the gangster limelight when he becomes the last chance that Fat Sam's gang has of surviving. All Bugsy really wants to do is spend time with his new love, Blousey, but that just isn't in the cards for our hero.

The Snow Queen is one of Hans Christian Anderson's most beloved and enduring stories.  In this musical theatre adaptation by Regina composer Robert Ursan, the story unfolds of Gerda and her search for her lost brother Kay. When a wicked troll breaks an evil mirror the shards of glass circle the globe.  One of the slivers gets into Kay's eye and one in his heart - causing him to lose his love for his family and run away with the mysterious Snow Queen.  Gerda's quest to find her brother takes her into darkened forests and glacial lands where she encounters talking wolves, magic flowers and other wondrous creatures. Her belief that her love will save Kay makes Gerda a truly remarkable hero.

A Midsummer Night's Dream: Summer of Love Edition

  • Do It With Class Young People's Theatre (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Step into the groovy world of 1969, where flower power blooms, music is magic, and love is more tangled than a beaded curtain.

In this psychedelic spin on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the story unfolds at the edge of a sprawling music festival in the enchanted forest of Athens, Georgia (not Greece). Young lovers run away from authority to find freedom and each other, only to get caught up in a wild, magical trip — literally.

The mischievous fairy Puck, now a tie-dye-clad trickster with a guitar and a mind full of mayhem, stirs up romantic chaos with a love potion gone wrong. Meanwhile, a band of wannabe rockstars (the "mechanicals") rehearse their far-out play for a counterculture wedding, not realizing that the forest is alive with magic, music, and mischief.

At the heart of it all are Oberon and Titania, the groovy king and queen of the fairies, whose cosmic feud throws the natural world into disorder. Peace, love, and misunderstanding collide in a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and starlight — until harmony is restored with a little help from the fairies and a lot of forgiveness.

With bell bottoms, flower crowns, and a whole lot of heart, this vibrant adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream brings Shakespeare's timeless comedy into the technicolor dream of the Summer of Love.
