Artistic Director Robert Ursan and DIWC Past Board Member Virginia Wilkinson were both recognized in the first medal award ceremony for their contributions to the arts. The Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan awarded the medals in honour of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. The commemorative medals are part of a year long celebration of Her Majesty’s 70th anniversary on the throne.
