'THE WIZ'Do It With Class Young People's Theatre7:30 p.m., Feb. 24 & 25Conexus Arts Centre- - -There are over 300 costumes in the upcoming production of The Wiz, which will be put on by the performers of Do It With Class Young People's Theatre."Our costuming people have been extremely busy," said Andorlie Hillstrom, the artistic director.Seventy of these costumes are for scenes in Emerald City, which will look familiar to theatre-goers.Oz will resemble Regina, and Do It With Class will be using projections of Wascana Centre in the production and the Legislative Building denotes Emerald City."That way the musical feels like it's been grown here," said music director Robert Ursan.Dorothy makes her way through Wascana Centre in her quest to find the Wizard of Oz.She meets the Tin Woodman by the waterfall in the park.At another point in the musical, there is a tipi on stage."The Saskatchewan landscape lends itself very well to Kansas," said Hillstrom.
