From the 2024 smash Broadway musical named “best new musical on broadway” by TheatreMania, Do It With Class is proud to present Water for Elephants (the high school edition), a poignant, emotional show, packed with brilliant music, imagination, and heart!
During the height of the Great Depression, a grieving young man in his last year of veterinary school jumps aboard a moving train, desperate to find an escape from his grief and old life. Jacob finds a job and home with the folks aboard the train, and the animals, as he finds himself the newest vet in a traveling circus with a charming but mysterious ringmaster, and a beautiful horseback performer. We see Jacob’s story unfold through a memorable tale narrated by his older self, heartfelt and heartbreaking all at once, as he nears the end of his life and has to decide, once more, what to do with the things and time he has left.
